LK Advani Hospitalised

LK Advani, the 96-year-old veteran BJP leader and former Deputy Prime Minister, was readmitted to Apollo Hospital in Delhi on Tuesday. According to sources, Advani’s condition remains stable, and he is currently under the careful observation of neurologist Dr. Vinit Suri.

On February 3, 2024, it was announced that Advani would be awarded the Bharat Ratna, India’s highest civilian honor. President Droupadi Murmu and Prime Minister Narendra Modi acknowledged his significant contributions to Indian politics, with Modi describing the award as a “very emotional moment” and expressing his gratitude for the opportunity to learn from Advani.
